Chapter 04 — The Utah file

Radon testing & mitigation in Utah

This site imports no Utah state roster, so these are current NRPP and NRSB certifications from those programs’ public finders. A national certification is not a state license. We group people by the city on that file. We do not invent neighborhoods. Source: NRPP.

How to verify a radon credential in Utah

UT DOPL licenses radon work in Utah but publishes no list with credential numbers that we can import, so listings here are national NRPP or NRSB certifications instead. A national certification is not the Utah credential. The Utah credential covers mitigation only, as an S354 classification on a contractor license. Ask the agency directly: dopl@utah.gov or 801-530-6628.

Does Utah license radon testers and mitigators?

Ask UT DOPL directly: dopl@utah.gov or 801-530-6628. The 70 listings shown here are current NRPP or NRSB certifications, which you can check on those programs' public finders, but they are not the Utah credential.

No. Utah credentials radon work separately through UT DOPL. A national certification does not satisfy that requirement. Ask any provider for their Utah credential and verify it with the agency before you hire.
